'Suthra Punjab' emerges top public initiative

The Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR) has described the Punjab government's performance as exceptional at the public level, identifying the "Suthra Punjab" programme as its most significant achievement. According to IPOR's latest survey, "Suthra Punjab" ranked highest with 33 per cent.

The survey report states that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, there has been a marked improvement in sanitation services, with the public regarding the programme as a leading example of effective service delivery.

Implementation of directives issued by the Chief Minister has also resulted in notably improved performance by local government institutions.

According to the survey, positive progress has also been observed in the health and education sectors.
