ECC approves increase in commission for oil dealers and OMCs
Oil dealers' margin increased by 70 paisas, oil marketing companies' commission increased by 48 paisas on petrol.

The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Tuesday approved the increase in the oil dealers commission and distributors margin. The decision was taken during the meeting.
According to sources, oil dealers' margin was increased by 70 paisas while oil marketing companies' commission was increased by 48 paisas on petrol.
The ECC meeting also passed nine out of the ten points of the LNG import policy.
A final decision on the LNG import policy and Trade Tariff rationalisation was delayed due to the absence of the Commerce Minister.
The next meeting will be held in September.
