Suspected killer of Chinese national held

Three of four accomplices already in jail, one hiding in Pasni

The CTD Operation-II Garden Police, in a raid near Korangi Crossing, arrested a suspect, Ameer Hussain alias Aamir Hussain son of Jaffar Alam, allegedly involved in the murder of a Chinese national.

According to the police, the suspect along with his four accomplices Abdul Sattar, Abdullah, Noor Kabir and Jahangir, had entered a Chinese company within the limits of Ibrahim Haideri with the intention of committing robbery. The Chinese man resisted the robbers who killed the foreign national after subjecting him to torture. The arrested suspect informed the police that his accomplices had escaped with stolen goods from the scene.

The suspect further disclosed that three of his accomplices - Jahangir, Abdullah, Abdul Sattar were later and they are currently in jail. The arrested suspect, Ameer Hussain had escaped to Hyderabad and came back to Karachi after staying there for a few days.

During interrogation, the arrested accused revealed that he along with his accomplices has committed 25 to 30 street crimes including snatchings in many city areas.

The accused further disclosed that his accomplice Noor Kabir, who was involved in the murder of the Chinese national, was hiding in Pasni. Further revelations are expected from him.
