Health minister pays surprise visit to BBH

Patients say that they were being accorded satisfactory care and treatment at the BBH

RAWALPINDI:

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid inspected the dengue ward of the Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) during a surprise visit to the hospital in Rawalpindi.

Apart from examining the medical facilities being provided in the ward, the health minister also inquired about the health of dengue patients and the treatment that they were receiving.

The patients said that they were being accorded satisfactory care and treatment at the BBH.

Dr Yasmeen Rashid said that hospitals all over the province were being inspected to gauge the quality of facilities being provided on the orders of the Punjab chief minister.

She said that she was satisfied with the hospital’s progress in handling dengue patients in Rawalpindi.
