PSX to revert to old trading system

Due to problems experienced in the Jade Trading Terminal

KARACHI:

The Pakistan Stock Exchange has announced to temporarily return to the old trading system (KATS) due to problems experienced in the Jade Trading Terminal (JTT).

The PSX implemented a new trading system (NTS) on Monday, which was procured from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), PSX said in a statement on Saturday.

“The SZSE NTS is working as per specifications,” it added. “Some material issues have been encountered in the Jade Trading Terminal (JTT).”

In order to address the concerns with JTT, PSX is reverting to the previous system (KATS) as a short term measure.
