Man pays Rs50k to assassins to kill relative over family feud

The Ibrahim Hyderi Police claimed to have solved the mystery of a murder case and arrested three suspects, including victim's relatives, allegedly involved in the killing, and recovered the weapon used in the crime.

Ibrahim Hyderi Police Station SHO Muhammad Ali said that arrested suspects include Jamil, Luqman Shah and Sajjad Khan. The accused had allegedly shot dead Muhammad Ali, 35, son of Deedar Hussain at around 7pm on October 9, 2021 near Naval Wall, Ibrahim Hyderi in Korangi area.

Jamil, a close relative of the deceased, had allegedly paid Rs50,000 to the suspects for killing Muhammad Ali over a personal enmity.

A brief visit to the interogation room was enough to get Jamil talking. He confessed to the crime and said that he had paid Rs10,000 in advance and another Rs40,000 after the murder. He gave the remaining amount to the assassin two days after the crime was committed.

Muhammad Ali was shot dead from a close range. Police found a mobile phone, wallet and a private web TV card from the pockets of victim.

Abdul Rehman, brother of the deceased told the police that he and his elder brother were returning home on their motorcycles after work when two suspects on bike shot him in the chest. I rushed my brother to JPMC where doctors pronounced him dead.
