Actor Usman Mukhtar's wedding ceremonies have been the highlight of social media this week and his daytime reception in Islamabad on Friday seems to have taken the cake for being the most elegant of them all.
As pictures of both the bride and groom poured in straight from the venue, we were forced to pen another note on their carefully handpicked, impressively crafted outfits, and subtly fashioned decor.
While Mukhtar looked dapper in a suit and tie, despite it being the standard, his wife’s jora did the talking on this occasion. Donning her mother’s gharara, the bride, Zunaira Inam Khan, looked breathtaking in the ensemble restored by Mohsin Naveed Ranjha. Featuring hues of pink and purple with golden embroidery, she completed her look with heavy golden jewellry and subtle makeup.

Ranjha also shared the look on his Instagram Stories, recalling how Inam came to him with the outfit, which he is proud of working on. “Proud of how well the labour of restoration came about,” he wrote.
Another highlight of the day was Naimal Khawar's emerald silk sari. She attended the reception with husband Hamza Ali Abbasi. The guest list also included some of Mukhtar's best friends from showbiz, including actors Osman Khalid Butt, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Shahzad Sheikh and singer Uzair Jaswal.
We specifically loved the elegant, minimal finish of the décor. With nothing too flashy in sight, the flowers were carefully picked to fit the pastel theme while white was the predominant colour. The greenery of the venue added to its Instagram-able execution, making it all the more refreshing.
