‘Walkthrough Spain’ offers journey through its history and beauty: envoy

Spain has become a major tourism hotspot in the world, says Ambassador Manuel Durán Giménez-Rico

Spanish Ambassador to Pakistan Manuel Durán Giménez-Rico has said that Spain has become a major tourist destination in the world and more than 80 million tourists visit the country every year.

He expressed these remarks during the launching ceremony of Ammar Zaidi's book Walkthrough Spain. The envoy said that the book is written on the history of Spain and the pictures of historic places of Spain are also part of the book, which highlight the beauty of the country.

Spain, he said, is a tourist hotspot and every year over 80 million people visit the country but now they can "travel to Spain through this book as well".

On the occasion, CEO JS Bank Imran Haleem Shaikh said that they have taken the licence of Roshan Digital Account, adding that the Kamiyab Jawan Programme is a good initiative taken by the PTI government. "JS Bank supports art and culture," he added.

He also said that the trade with Spain would be expanded to 3 billion euros.

Federal ministers Fawad Chaudhry, Shibli Faraz, Ali Zaidi, Hammad Azhar and ambassadors from various countries also attended the ceremony.
