Taking on the Taliban in Punjab
CAIRO:
This is with reference to the article “Govt ambivalent about tackling Punjabi Taliban” (June 23). Any party – political or religious – or any individual who provides cover to terrorist groups or their training facilities commits an act of treason against the state.
I will refrain from pointing fingers, but those who indulge in such crimes know who they are. There should be a uniform zero-tolerance policy for such cowardly criminal acts. The parliament, executive, judiciary and armed forces should come together to deal with this evil, once and for all.
