Silk gowns and royal capes: Best dressed celebs at the LSAs 2021
If there’s one thing to look forward to during awards season, other than your favourite artists bagging some trophies, is the red carpet fashion! Celebs often bring their A-game to the LUX Style awards, and while there may be quite a few misses and blunders on display, there are always some standout fashion choices that light up the red carpet. This year, the LSAs saw celebrities donning floor-sweeping silk gowns, long and wavy tresses, as well as royal capes, embellished to perfection. Here are our top picks for this year’s best-dressed celebs at the LSAs.
Mushk Kaleem
Mushk took home the silver statuette for Model of the Year, and as expected, the diva put her best foot forward on the red carpet. Dressed in a hot pink Sana Safinaz gown, complete with gorgeous ruffles and a floor-sweeping design, the outfit matched the model’s title. She kept her hair out of her face and off her shoulders in a slick bun, which allowed the outfit to do the talking. With minimal jewellery and soft bronze makeup, this look was definitely one of the best of the night.
Ali Xeeshan
As expected, star designer Ali Xeeshan made a statement on the red carpet. The designer opted for a white cape, which hung gracefully on him. The cape was embellished with silver sequins which helped bring a hefty dose of glamour and fun to the look. The designer chose to accessorise with red-tinted sunglasses and gold chains dangling all the way down his chest. With slicked hair and a neatly trimmed beard, Ali proved that there’s more than enough room to have fun with more masculine silhouettes!
Trinette Lucas
Nominated in the category for best emerging talent in fashion, Trinette stunned in a white silk number. The blouse of the sari, with a halterneck design, was draped around the model’s chest, fitting gorgeously on her. Trinette chose to wear her hair straight and open, adding to the elegance of the look, and paired the sari with a glossy berry pout and soft smokey eyes.
Sachal Afzal
Sachal’s outfit was a breath of fresh air and injected a good dose of glamour into an otherwise boring night for men’s fashion. While most men, save for a couple or so, opted for the same tried and tested suit and tie combo, Sachal opted for a more traditional vibe. The Model of the Year winner opted for a black kameez and trouser combo, complete with a white shawl draped elegantly over his shoulders. Sachal kept his hair combed back and accessorised with traditional jewellery, including an amulet and beaded bracelets. The model also added a cane and perfectly shiny black shoes to the look to truly elevate it to the next level.
Nimra Jacob
The model’s gorgeous yellow silk gown looked like liquid sunshine. A nominee in the Model of the Year category, Nimra stunned on the red carpet with minimal jewellery, save for a pair of drop earrings, and glossy makeup. The model’s gold highlight on her sharp cheekbones complimented the outfit perfectly, and her long curly mane added to the glamour of the overall look.
Fouzia Aman
The model opted for a fully-sequinned black jumpsuit, tailored to perfection. The outfit included a black train that swept the red carpet behind her. Fouzia opted for open, wavy hair, with the outfit cinched at the waist with the help of an extravagant belt that did away with any need for other jewellery.
