Police launch hunt for killers of two brothers

Victims came from Haripur to buy a vehicle for rental service

Police have registered an FIR against the unidentified suspects for the murder of two men visiting the city from Haripur to buy a vehicle for rental service.

Two days back (Wednesday) the unidentified suspects had dumped bodies of the victims Zar Muhammad and Zaar Muhammad into an empty plot on Gulshan-e-Ravi.

The victims had been visiting the city from Haripur to buy a four-wheeler. They had a plan to use the vehicle for transportation and rental purpose. The prime suspect, a friend of victim Zar Muhamad, along with victims visited different showrooms. In the evening, he had an exchange of harsh words with the victims on some issue.

The prime suspect along with his accomplices reportedly shot the two victims dead and dumped their bodies.

The incident spread fear and panic in the surroundings as the visuals of the victims’ bodies were really disturbing. The police were informed about the incident.

Police teams, forensic experts visited the crime scene, shifted the bodies to a morgue for autopsy and also recorded statements of the eyewitnesses.
