Five killed, three injured in Lahore

Five people were killed and three injured in Lahore. The incident occurred when firing between two groups took place.

LAHORE: Five people were killed and three injured in Lahore on Wednesday.

The incident occurred at Darogha Wala area in the jurisdiction of Manawaan Police Station, when firing between two groups took place.

According to police sources, the firing occurred when some people coming out of the court after a hearing were attacked by unidentified gunmen.

The injured have been shifted to Mayo Hospital, and security has been tightened at the hospital.

The police began collecting information from eye witnesses and no FIR has been lodged so far. The police also stated that the attackers managed to escape after the attack that no arrests have been made so far.

According to police the incident is a result of an old enmity, which has already claimed a number of lives from both sides
