Cabinet to take up national action plan on businesses and human rights

ISLAMABAD:

Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned the meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday to deliberate upon the 15-point agenda.

According to a document available with Express News, the huddle of the heads of state would review the national, political, and economic situation of the country.

The Civil Aviation Division officials would brief the cabinet on the clearance of services international hotel. Moreover, the aviation policy and progress on the implementation stage of the policy is also part of the agenda.

Sources said the cabinet would approve the national action plan on businesses and human rights. In addition to this, the interior ministry would brief the cabinet on the visa processing.

They added that the federal cabinet would accept the resignation of Mehmood Molvi from the PT Board and approve the appointment of Saud Azeem.

It would also approve issuing the ordinance on the matter of the Pakistan Nursing Council. Furthermore, approval to send medical staff to Indonesia to deal with the coronavirus pandemic is also part of the agenda.

It would also approve legislation related to the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, adding that it will ratify the decisions of the ECC and the Institutional Reforms Committee. Confirmation of the decisions of the cabinet committees on energy and legislation is also on the agenda.
