Situation remains tense in Karachi

KARACHI:
The situation in Karachi remained tense on Wednesday, after a recent spat of violence in the city.

Markets in Qasba Colony and Orangi Town were shut down after incidents of firing.


Four people were killed and two injured on Tuesday in the Korangi Industrial and Surjani town areas.

The CM ordered Sindh IG police Sultan Salahuddin Babar Khattak and CCPO Waseem Ahmed to take immediate action against the people involved in the Korangi and Surjani town incidents.

The Sindh Police, as well as rangers, have also been put on high alert in the city.
