Govt working to fulfill PM’s vision

ISLAMABAD:

The Ministry of IT is committed to enhancing connectivity and improving digital infrastructure in the country and the government is taking numerous steps to fulfill the vision of Digital Pakistan, said Federal Minister for IT Syed Aminul Haque. He was speaking at the spectrum auction for next generation mobile services at the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) headquarters on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, PTA Chairman Amir Azeem Bajwa said that the authority was working to ensure that Pakistanis had access to high-quality services and benefit from ubiquitous coverage. He also appreciated the efforts of officials of the PTA and IT ministry for timely conclusion of the spectrum auction process. The event was attended by federal secretary for IT, PTA members and the Frequency Allocation Board (FAB) executive director.
