QUETTA:

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has said that he does not care about the opposition’s no-confidence motion against him.

“If my allies did not support me, I will leave the post of Leader of the House myself,” Jam Kamal said.

The provincial chief executive added that he is not worried at all about the no-confidence motion of the opposition.

He made these remarks in a tweet following a no-confidence motion against him.

“Alhamdulillah, I do not care at all about the no-confidence motion filed by the opposition,” the CM stated. “It is important to me that my party and allies are with me. The day my party and allies are not with me, it will be useless for me to be the leader of the house and I will resign.”

Opposition MPA Akhter Hussain Langau said they have the majority vote against the CM and the no confidence motion will be successful.

Opposition lawmakers in the Balochistan Assembly filed the no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan over poor governance, rising unrest and unemployment in the province, and presenting a biased development budget.
