Villages without power for two days

Residents threaten to surround the relevant offices if the impaired transformer is not fixed

The residents of Baghan Kalal Kot village warned to surround the office of Galiyat SDO and XEN offices if they do not fix the impaired transformer by Tuesday (today).

The transformer of Bhajan Kala Kot village is out of order for the past two weeks because of which it is without electricity.

The locals said they contacted lineman Azam Khan and Zubair Khan, who demanded backhanders for fixing it. Upon refusal, the officials didn’t send a team for fixing the transformer and the village is dwelling in the dark for the past two weeks.

The locals said MNA Murtaza Javed Abbasi and MPA Sardar Aurangzeb have lent a deaf ear to their complaints as well.

The locals have warned to surround the offices of SDO Aijaz Khan and XEN office if the transformed is not repaired until Tuesday (today).
