In a new development in TikToker Ayesha Akram’s case, police concerned told a magisterial court that six suspects whom the TikToker girl had identified in jail, were also involved in snatching cell phones and other street crimes.
It was revealed when the investigation officer (IO) of the case sought extension in physical remand of the suspects on plea to properly investigate the matter as well as to recover the weapons and looted money.

However, Judicial Magistrate Hassan Sarfraz Cheema extended a two-day physical remand of the suspects.
Arsalan, Abid, Iftikhar Asad, Sheharyar, Mehran and Muhammad Sajid had already been handed over to the police station concerned on a total five-day physical remand for each individual.
The suspects had been arrested in connection with the case of allegedly assaulting a TikToker Ayesha Akram at the Greater Iqbal Park on August 14.
In earlier proceedings, the magisterial court had ordered to release of 98 suspects who could not be identified at Camp Jail.
