QUETTA:

The spokesman of Balochistan government Liaquat Shahwani has said that there was a decline in the Covid-19 cases across the province and the number of patients had plunged down by almost 15 per cent as compared to the month of July.

Addressing a press conference in Quetta, he said that currently, the rate of positive cases in the province is at its lowest

He claimed that the number of cases were on the constant decline which was visible from the considerable drop compared to the month of July. He said that there was a propaganda going on that the vaccination process was slow and people were not taking interest in it but still around 20,000 doses are being administered on daily basis in the province, adding that due to the rapid pace of mass vaccination the cases were decreasing each passing day which was really good sign.

“Covid cases are on decline due to due to mass vaccination in the province. The day Covid is brought under control will be a good day for Pakistan,” he added.
