‘Major cities to get metropolitan status’

It will help solve civic issues of the cities at a local level, says Balochistan CM

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has said that the government is planning to solve the problems of Khuzdar and all major cities of Balochistan will soon be given metropolitan status after which civic issues can be resolved at the local level.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Balochistan Awami Party Khuzdar at Commissioner House Khuzdar.

On this occasion Deputy Speaker Balochistan Assembly Babar Musakhel, Provincial Minister Sardar Arif Jan Muhammad Mohammad Hassani, Commissioner Kalat Division Bashir Ahmad Khan Baazi, Deputy Commissioners Khuzdar Major (retd) Bashir Ahmed Barich, SSP Khuzdar Arbab Amjad Kasi were also present.

Sardar Buland Khan, Mir Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Younis, Akram Baloch, Mir Irfan, Mir Ayazullah Bajwa called on the Chief Minister of Balochistan and briefed him about the overall problems of Khuzdar.

Talking, he said that in view of the growing population and geographical importance of Khuzdar.

He said that major cities of Balochistan including Khuzdar would be given metropolitan status soon which would definitely help in reducing urban development and many other problems at a local level.
