Teacher booked for breaking young pupil’s finger

Police have started making raids to arrest the suspect

A case has been registered against a female teacher for allegedly breaking a finger of a young student over failing to attend school.

Police on Friday said the mother of the victim, Allahrakhi, the wife of Sarwar Masih, a resident of Chak 659GB, complained that her daughter’s school teacher assaulted her daughter that left her with a broken finger.

“My nine-year-old daughter, a student of class three went to the school where she was severely beaten with a stick by her teacher for not attending classes,” the mother of the unfortunate child revealed. “She also went on a tirade of slurs to let down my child and asked her to never come back to the premises,” Allahrakhi broke down while narrating the incident.

The school teacher has been identified as Sania.

Police have registered a case under Section 328A and 500 of the Pakistan Penal Code against the suspect and are raiding to apprehend her for interrogation purposes.
