‘Housemaids’ involved in theft nabbed by CIA
The Islamabad police Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) arrested six suspects, including four women, allegedly involved in looting houses in the guise of housemaids and recovered diamond ornaments, mobile phone and other valuables from their possession, a spokesperson said on Tuesday.
According to the details, senior police officials had directed all officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and trace those involved in theft cases.
Following their directions, SSP (Investigation) constituted a team under the supervision of CIA DSP Hakim Khan, which included ASIs Rana Tasneem, Asia Yasmeen, Farzana Safdar and others.

During the investigation, the suspects confessed to having looted houses in the area of Tarnol police stations. A case has been registered against them and further investigation is under way.
DIG (Operations) Afzaal Ahmad Kausar has appreciated the performance of the police team who arrested these thieves and announced cash prizes as well as commendation certificates for them.
He also appealed to the citizens to verify the bio-data of domestic servants before employing them.
