Sindh health department urged proof of vaccination as a requirement for citizens to avail banking services

KARACHI:

The Sindh health department has requested the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) to make Covid jabs mandatory for banking and dining services.

In separate letters to the NCOC on Sunday, the Sindh health department urged proof of vaccination as a requirement for citizens to avail banking services and to enter restaurants and hotels.

Meanwhile, All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association Chairperson Haider Ali has said that parents' consent will be ensured before administering Covid jabs to students of grades IX and above. In a statement on Sunday.

Consent forms will be issued to parents and guardians starting today (Monday) and the vaccine will be administered only after signed forms are received.

Only students falling under the age bracket specified by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) will be given the jabs, said Haider, adding that the inoculation drive will be run by the Sindh health department.
