Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau on Sunday strongly condemned the suicide bombing which left four Frontier Corps personnel martyred and several others injured near a security check post located in Balochistan’s Mastung district.

He said such cowardly attacks could not weaken the morale of security forces that were taking measures to curb nefarious designs of terrorists in the country’s largest province in order to maintain durable peace.

Langau directed officials to take action against the culprits involved in the incident to bring them to justice. “Measures would be taken to protect the lives of people and their property in the area.”

The home minister hailed the security forces for sacrificing their precious lives in the war against terrorists.

He instructed the relevant officials to submit report of the incident after completion of investigation and expressed his sympathy with the victims’ families and ordered provision of all facilities for treatment of the wounded personnel.

Balochistan has seen an uptick in violence this year with frequent terrorist attacks targeting FC personnel mostly.
