Two held for sexually assaulting boys

Police have started investigation

RAWALPINDI:

Police arrested a man for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy. The child’s father had complained to the Westridge police, and they registered a case against the accused and later arrested him.

According to the child’s father, his son went to the house of the neighbour to play with the children of the accused, but he after sending his children to tuition center abused the child. A case was registered against the accused named Nadeem and police, under the supervision of SHO Westridge, took immediate action and held the accused. The victim was also sent to the hospital for medical examination; they added.

Superintendent of Police, Potohar Tasawar Iqbal said that the accused would be challaned with solid evidence so that exemplary punishment could be given to the rapist.

Meanwhile, a 10-year-old child was raped in the jurisdiction of Bani police station. Accused, Imran lured the victim to a park and raped him.

Police registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s mother and arrested the accused.

The child will undergo a medical test. Apart from the DNA test of the accused, other tests will also be conducted to present in the court.

The police forensic team visited the relevant park in the identification of the child and collected important evidence with the help of a mobile forensic laboratory. Police said that they would produce the accused in court on Saturday (today) and they would get his physical remand.
