CM Kamal holds ‘security’ meeting

Participants were told about the steps taken to eradicate the miscreants and subversive elements

A high-level meeting on law and order situation in the province was held under the chairmanship of Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal on Wednesday.

The meeting was briefed by the additional chief secretary and Balochistan IG Muhammad Tahir Rai on the overall security situation in the province.

The meeting was also briefed on the steps taken to provide security to the security forces.

Participants were told about the steps taken to eradicate the miscreants and subversive elements. Addressing the meeting, the CM Jam Kamal said the enemy wanted to destabilise us.

“We would not compromise on the law and order situation in the province,” he said. “There is a need to formulate an effective statement against terrorism and the government’s job is to protect the people.” The provincial chief executive also said the overall security situation in the province has improved in the last few years and business activities have been boosted.
