Prime minister’s claim: ‘Zardari to consult S Punjab leaders’
Gilani said that he had requested the president to visit South Punjab.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said on Sunday that President Asif Ali Zardari would soon visit South Punjab to consult all the stakeholders and prepare a strategy to end sense of deprivation of people of this area.
Gilani said that he had requested the president to visit South Punjab. The premier said President Zardari during the visit would meet the workers and office-bearers of the PPP and parliamentarians to discuss measures for ending the sense of deprivation of people of South Punjab. Gilani said the party leadership has formed a manifesto committee which would submit its recommendations to the president.
