Agriculture: Fertiliser seller caught overcharging
A special branch caught the accused red handed. Sheikh Abid Hussain was caught selling urea fertilisers for Rs1,800.
DASKA:
The Daska City police have registered a case against accused Sheikh Abid Hussain (president Markazi Anjuman Tajran Daska) for selling urea fertilisers at inflated prices. According to the FIR (No. 665/2011) lodged by special magistrate Ehsanullah Warraich under section 3 / 7 of the Price Control Act, a special branch caught the accused red handed. Sheikh Abid Hussain was caught selling urea fertilisers at an inflated rate of Rs1,800 against its fixed official rate of Rs1,390 per bag. Police have started an investigation.
