Duo was spotted in Kayi outfits having a ball with the cast of the hit Turkish series.

Photos and videos of President Arif Alvi visiting the sets of Turkish period drama Kuruluş: Osman with his wife have been doing the rounds on social media.

Kuruluş: Osman is the sequel to the popular television series Diriliş: Ertuğrul. These photos see the president and his wife having a chat with the cast of the show, while posing in outfits designed for the actors representing the Kayi tribe in the series.

In one picture, he can be seen engaging in a fist bump with the series producer Mehmet Bozdag. While in another photo, the President was seen posing with Burak Özçivit alias Osman himself. The husband and wife also donned Kayi tribe head pieces as they stood with the cast.

President Alvi and his wife were on a three-day visit to Turkey.

Dirilis: Ertugrul, comprising 179 episodes, was dubbed in Urdu and aired on PTV last year on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The series is based on Ertugrul, father of Osman I, who founded the Ottoman Empire. It instantly became a massive hit in Pakistan, crossing millions of views on YouTube.

As for Kuruluş: Osman, which started airing in Pakistan during Ramazan this year, is about to hit the TV screens again since its new episodes have been announced by Senator Faisal Javed.

Dirilis: Ertugrul’s lead actors, Engin Altin and Esra Bilgiç, have visited Pakistan previously. Esra was also the brand ambassador for Peshawar Zalmi in the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League.
