I’d marry Mani even if he already had a wife: Hira Mani

Actor, singer and television host Hira Mani has seemingly made it a point to discuss her husband Salman Saqib (AKA Mani) during every interview. In a recent development, the actor explained when she first got to know her now-husband, Mani’s marital status was of no consequence since she would have married the comedian even if he already had a wife.

Speaking to Urdu News, Hira shared, “People often ask me why I credit my success to Mani. My only response to that is that there is no one else like him. He is a supportive husband, a responsible father, and a talented artist.”

Hira has been fairly open about her love story with Mani in the past, recounting that she got with the comedian behind her friend’s back, whom he was dating at the time. On the criticism she received following the revelation, the actor explained, “People criticise me because I stole Mani’s number from my friend’s phone and messaged him behind her back, but the truth is, I have no regrets. People can say what they want. Even if Mani was married to someone else, I would have married him regardless.”

The Meray Paas Tum Ho actor then explained that she is still on good terms with the friend in question. She also revealed that if Hira and Mani find a suitable script, they’d be more than happy to share the screen again
