Information Minister inaugurates website on Pakistan's history
She said the initiative would help promote the services of Pakistan's national heroes and promote a soft image.

Directorate of Films and Publications (DFP) on Sunday launched a website, aimed at creating awareness among public about the history of Pakistan.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, who inaugurated the website, said the initiative would help promote the services of Pakistan's national heroes.
The website www.dfp.gov.pk preserves the data of almost 64 years of Pakistan's history in the form of publications, photographs, documentaries and films, she added.
The Information Minister said that everyone could easily access data, on the website, not available in the market and that it was a unique gift for the nation on the eve of Independence Day.
She said that the website would also highlight a soft image of Pakistan at the international level and among overseas Pakistanis living in different parts of the world would also benefit to know about the history.
