Barkhan soon to emerge as industrial city: CM

Chief Minister of Balochistan Jam Kamal has said that he is bringing development packages on health and education in the province to improve the service-delivery of health and education.

Jam Kamal, Senator Danesh Kumar and Provincial Advisor Muhammad Khan Lehri were talking to reporters at Haji Kot on the occasion of Fateha and condolences to the provincial Minister for Food and Welfare Sardar Abdul Rehman on the demise of his mother.

Earlier CM Kamal accompanied by Senator Danish Kumar and Provincial Advisor Muhammad Khan Lehri reached Barkhan District where he was received by Deputy Commissioner of Barkhan Abdullah Khan Khosa.

Kamal said that he is bringing a package on priority basis regarding health and education in the province which will further improve health and education in the province. This will provide more modern facilities to the hospitals of the province including Rakhni, Barkhan.

"Significant changes will be made in trauma centers and primary health centers, including both their basic surgery, emergency departments. “People will not have to travel to Quetta, Karachi and Punjab from remote areas (of Balochistan)," he said.

He said that steps have been taken for the construction of roads in Barkhan, which is going to become an important area and industrial city of the province in the next 5 years.

Barkhan is the center for transportation to different areas like Sui, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Duki, Loralai and Punjab.
