Maryam Nawaz tests positive for Covid-19
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday, confirmed party spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb.
"Pakistan Muslim League (N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has tested positive for Covid-19 after which she has self-quarantined," Aurangzeb said on Twitter.
She further urged the public to pray for the health of the PML-N leader and all others suffering from the disease.
Later, Maryam took to Twitter as well, saying she was receiving treatment at home. The PML-N vice president confirmed she was unwell, saying, "I have fever, cough and flu symptoms but am being treated at home."

In April this year, Maryam Nawaz got tested for Covid-19 after she experienced severe throat pain.
In late March, it emerged that Maryam and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman had postponed their political activities for a few days owing to their ill-health.
In a tweet from the PML-N's official account, party spokesperson Marriyum Aurganzeb had said the PML-N leader had high fever and severe pain in her throat, and was hence, suspending her political activities for four days.
