QUETTA:

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) provincial head Maulana Abdul Wasay has said that his party would start protests against the provincial government after Eidul Azha.

“From July 29, the JUI-F will start protests against the provincial government [of BAP] in different districts of Balochistan,” he said while talking to party functionaries and workers at his residence.

He alleged that the BAP government had not taken any measures to address the prevailing civic issues, including load shedding and water shortage. “No action is being taken by the government [to address the prevailing issues].

On the one hand, the orchards have dried up due to drought and on the other hand, the agriculture sector has been severely affected due to prolonged power outages,” Wasay said.
