A landlord allegedly tortures a 16-year-old boy to death in suburban village 11 of Pakpattan on Saturday.
Police said a man named Muhammad Hussain, who was an employee of a landlord named Mushtaq knocked on the door of Mumtaz Bibi's house. He was on a motorcycle and took Mumtaz’s son Wasif with him saying that the Mushtaq needs her son for some work. However, the boy did not return home and his body was found in a deserted place.
The widow has filed a case against the accused in the murder case.
He was kidnapped from his home after being tricked and was later killed after he refused to work for the landlord. The victim was left stranded while the suspect fled the scene.
Police have registered a case on the statement of Mumtaz Bibi and have started investigating further details into the incident.

The victim is an orphan and was the sole breadwinner of his mother.
Earlier this year in February, a landlord tortured a six-year-old child to death for refusing to work at Depoke village on the outskirts of Zafarwal.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar severely tortured Noman Hassan, son of a worker, so much that the child died before reaching the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Zafarwal.
A video clip that went viral on social media and was reported in the electronic media shows Sarwar torturing the child, beating him on the back and other parts of the body with an iron rod.
The child kept crying and screaming but the suspect continued with his crime.
