Panel recommends seven judges

The judicial commission on Saturday recommended the confirmation of services of three additional judges of the Lahore High Court and four judges of the Peshawar High Court, referring the matter to the parliamentary committee for appointment of judges.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry presided over the meeting. The judges, recommended for appointment to the LHC are: Justice Saghir Ahmed Qadri, Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan and Justice Khawaja Imtiaz. The PHC judges recommended are: Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel, Justice Attaullah Khan, Justice Miftahuddin Khan and Justice Mian Fasihul Mulk.
