Kareena Kapoor Khan announces the launch of her ‘Pregnancy Bible’

In her writing debut, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan will be sharing her experience of pregnancy. Her book, titled Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible will chronicle her journey towards motherhood. The Jab We Met actor gave birth to her older son Taimur with actor Saif Ali Khan in 2016, and the toddler has enjoyed much media attention since. However, the Khans have kept the details of their second son, born in February this year, rather private.

Kareena teased her fans with a picture of her holding up a sonogram on Instagram, captioning it, “Been working on something exciting… but it’s not what you’re thinking. Watch this space for more.” She followed the post with an official announcement for the launch of her book. She wrote, "This has been quite the journey… both my pregnancies and writing my Pregnancy Bible. There were good days and bad days; some days I was raring to go to work and others where I struggled to get out of bed. This book is a very personal account of what I experienced both physically and emotionally through both my pregnancies."

The 3 Idiots actor added, “In many ways, this book is like my third child… from conception to its birth today.” She revealed that the book has been written in collaboration with medical experts, sharing, “Published by Juggernaut India... I’m proud to share that my Pregnancy Bible is vetted and approved by FOGSI, India's official body of gynaecologists and obstetricians, along with the help of several expert voices like Rujuta Diwekar, Dr Sonali Gupta, and Dr Prabha Chandra of NIMHANS.”
