Police Torture: Family blames CIA for man’s death

Nazar Muhammad, 25, was arrested by CIA officials on July 28 while he was working at a brick kiln.

A robbery accused died of alleged torture in Malkwal CIA police custody on Saturday.

According to police officials, Bahwal resident Nazar Muhammad, 25, was arrested by CIA officials on July 28 while he was working at a brick kiln. CIA officials said that Muhammad was a terrorism suspect. On Saturday morning, Muhammad’s family came to know that Nazar had died while in police custody. They refused to receive the body until a case was registered against the CIA officials.
