ATC summons witness in Rangers murder case
A special anti-terrorism court (ATC) directed witnesses to ensure their presence at the next hearing of a case against the murder of Pakistan Rangers personnel.
An ATC was hearing the case at Karachi Central Jail.
The prime accused, Uzair Baloch and Muttahida Qaumi Movement activist Sheikh Muhammad alias Sher alias Sheru, were presented before the court.
However, the prosecution's witness, who is a magistrate, didn't appear at the hearing to record his statement on Baloch's confessional statement.

At the absence of witness, the court directed him to ensure his presence on the next hearing under any circumstances.
According to the prosecution, the accused kidnapped and murdered two Rangers personnel, Aijaz and Nasir, and threw their bodies in Meva Shah graveyard after disfiguring them to hide their identities.
The case pertaining to the dual murder was registered at Pak Colony Police Station in 2013.
