KARACHI:

"The expenditure is increasing while the income is decreasing for the people with every passing day," said Rehman. He claimed that the new budget didn't mention that the electricity and petrol rates will surge in every 15 days.

Rehman criticized that Asad Umar claimed before taking office as the Federal Minster for Planning and Development that the price of electricity would reduce to half while now with him a federal minister, the people are paying double the bills against their electricity consumption.

The country is being ruled by different mafias in turns, who exploit the citizens and their rights, he professed, adding that on contrary, JI's struggle was the struggle of economic revolution and the change in system.

JI-Karachi Vice Chief Raja Arif Sultan, Vice Chief Dr Osama Razi, Secretary Munam Muzaffar Khan, also spoke on the occasion.
