Men, women are made different for each other’s betterment: Mathira

TV personality has chimed in on fellow artist Zara Noor's stance on women taking a step back from work when pregnant

TV personality Mathira has chimed in on fellow artist Zara Noor Abbas' stance on why women are asked to take a step back from work when co-workers find out that they are pregnant. The Zebaish star further wanted to hear her fans' and followers' thoughts on why the same attitude does not extend towards fathers-to-be.

Mathira, while addressing a statement from Zara's Q&A session, commented under a local publication's Instagram post. “A man is incomplete without a woman and a woman is incomplete without a man," she penned, adding, "Both are made different for each other’s betterment, not to compete and take brownie points”.

The popular host was responding to Zara's statement on how men and women are different. “Women are not always belittled. But they are repeatedly questioned for their choices in life," the Parey Hut Love star had shared. "Why is that question not the standard for men in the corporate world? And also, men and women are not equal. They have their own place and women have their own. Plus, women give birth to another human being. Men can’t do that.”
