Two killed by electrocution

One of the deceased was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities

KARACHI:

Two people were killed in separate electrocution incidents in the metropolis.

A man was electrocuted to death near Gulistan School in Baldia Town No8. The deceased was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The identity of the deceased, stated to be in his 30s, could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. The police launched a probe into the incident.

Meanwhile, a woman was electrocuted while washing clothes in a house in New Karachi Sector G11. The injured woman, identified as Shehnaz, 40, was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the doctors pronounced her dead.

Separately, a man was injured while repairing something on a 60-feet-high floodlight pole in the hockey stadium at Sharae Faisal.
