MULTAN: A total of 25 women and 48 children living in the Darul Falah of the social welfare department are presently facing problems due to a suspension of funds. According to Darul Falah officials, the centre is facing a financial crisis due to suspension of stipends for the past two months.  According to department officials, the department is presently short of funds and is looking to restore the funding to the centre as soon as possible. “We realize that this money is necessary to help these people and we are working to restore the funds but at present there is no money coming in,” welfare department official Mubasshir Salvi said.  The women and children have appealed to the government to release the funds as soon as possible.
