SC rejects bail plea of Balochistan former Health DG

He said that his client as director general did not have any role in approval, payment or purchase of the material

ISLAMABAD:

The Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of former director general Health Balochistan Shakir Ali Baloch over withdrawal of the petition. A two-member SC bench headed by Justice Umar Ata Bandial heard the case.

During the course of proceedings, Advocate Farooq H Naek, counsel for the petitioner, said his client as director general could not challenge the decision of the health secretary.

He said that his client as director general did not have any role in approval, payment or purchase of the material.

Justice Bandial asked the NAB prosecutor general to inform the court about allegations and evidence against the accused.
