Policy moving in new direction
Pakistan’s “Look Africa Policy” is moving in a new direction and it will be helpful for stability of the country’s economy, said Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Nasir Mirza. Speaking at a virtual session to mark the Africa Day on Wednesday, he said that the African region had great potential for trade and investment. “We need to further strengthen linkages among chambers of commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce and trade and commercial officers stationed in African countries to facilitate access to trade with the region,” he said. “This will highlight Pakistan’s ‘Engage Africa Policy’ and strengthen economic linkages between Pakistan and African countries.”
