Aisam, Bopanna progress to Rogers Cup quarterfinals

Pakistan's top tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Indian teammate Rohan Bopanna made their way to the doubles quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup after beating Czech Tomas Berdych and German Florian Mayer in Montreal on Friday.

Although there was little to differentiate between the two sides, Aisam and Rohan managed to capitalise on one break point they got in the first set which they won 6-4.
The second set, however, went to a tie-breaker which the fifth seeded pair won.
Aisam and Rohan are set to play their quarterfinal match against American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan.
