Chances of the appearance of a cyclone in the eastern side of the Arabian Sea have increased, according to the latest advisory issued on Wednesday by the Pakistan Meteorological Department's Cyclone Centre.
The advisory states that a low-pressure system could appear in the south and southeast of the Arabian Sea on the morning of May 14, which may later transform into a tropical cyclone with the help of favorable atmospheric conditions. Though Pakistan's coastal areas currently are not at risk of a sea storm, fisher folk are advised to avoid moving towards the deep sea, the advisory reads.
