Banks to stay open during holidays

In order to ensure availability of banking services to trade and industry in particular and the public in general during the extended holidays before the forthcoming Eidul Fitr, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has decided that banks will open 50% of their total authorised branches dealing in foreign exchange and trade activities on May 10 (Monday) and the remaining 50% of branches on May 11 (Tuesday) from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (without break).
