Covid-19 snuffs out another 111 lives in Punjab
As many as 1,600 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Punjab on Tuesday while the pandemic claimed 111 precious lives in 24 hours which turned the death toll to 8,683.
As per the data shared by the spokesperson of the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD), the number of coronavirus cases in the province reached 308,529.
The P&SHD confirmed that 727 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Lahore,36 in Kasur,12 in Sheikhupura, seven in Nankana Sahib,105 in Rawalpindi, 21 in Attock, two in Jhelum, four in Chakwal, six in Gujranwala, six in Hafizabad, one in Mandi Bahauddin, 19 in Sialkot, 10 in Narowal, nine in Gujrat,127 in Faisalabad, six in Toba Tek Singh, seven in Chiniot, eight in Jhang, 71 in Sargodha, six in Mianwali, four in Khushab, 12 in Bhakkar, 96 in Multan,29 in Vehari, 23 in Khanewal, nine in Lodharan, 14 in Muzaffargarh, 19 in Dera Ghazi Khan, three in Layyah, two in Rajanpur, 74 in Rahimyar Khan, 49 in Bahawalpur, nine Bahawalnagar, 62 in Okara, three in Pakpattan and 11 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Sahiwal district during the last 24 hours.
