Kareena Kapoor teaches importance of Covid-19 via ‘Tom & Jerry’

She said Saif and her use the cartoon clip to help Taimur understand coronavirus

With the surge in Covid-19 cases and the ensuing horror has taken a toll over India, Bollywood stars have pledged to join hands and help. Spreading awareness in her own way, Kareena Kapoor Khan has urged everybody to get vaccinated with a video she posted on her Instagram.

Sharing how she teaches Taimur about coronavirus, the Good Newwz actor posted a clip from animated series Tom & Jerry to promote wakefulness and to encourage followers about getting vaccinated, reported The Indian Express. “We don’t realise that our kids are also absorbing what’s going on and they are scared too. We were talking to Tim to try and explain why all the adults need to be vaccinated and I think this sums it up pretty well. It’s really that simple,” she began.

“But like we explain to our kids, we too need to be patient and help everyone who is trying to help us — medics, pharma, authorities and the millions of volunteers. Please register and wait for your turn,” said the actor in her detailed post, along with the help of animated clip.

With many fans and followers singing praises for Kareena’s brilliant idea, sister-in-law Saba Ali Khan penned in the comments, “Beautifully expressed; stay safe.” Other than that, daughter of late actor Rishi Kapoor, cousin to Kareena, Riddhima Kapoor also appreciated her efforts to educate people in these uncertain and testing times.

The 40-year-old on Wednesday, also shared a post to spare a thought for the frontline workers and
doctors. Kareena expressed displeasure for those who are still ignoring and not
abiding the safety protocols.

On the work front, the starlet will be soon seen alongside Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha - slated for later this year
